James L. Michie Archaeology Reports

This collection contains 17 research manuscripts by James L. Michie (1941-2004), former archaeologist with the South Carolina Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology at the University of South Carolina, and Coastal Carolina University professor.

James L. Michie directed many important excavation projects within South Carolina. He is especially known for his archaeological investigations of plantation sites in Georgetown County, including Mansfield, Wachesaw, Richmond Hill and The Oaks.
