Walter Erich Luff, oral history interview

Abstract/Description: C. Bergin Berry interviews Walter Erich Luff, who as a youth served in the German Air Force in World War II, was captured by the British in Casablanca and ended up in a prisoner-of-war camp in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. About ten years after the end of WWII Mr. Luff returned to Horry County and lived in Conway for the rest of his life. While the date stamp on the video reads "1990" it is not known if that is the actual date of the interview or just the default date stamp on the video camera.
